Quaint traditional restaurant, good service, good food. Good accessibility by public transport, parking garage also nearby. Great location for a subsequent stroll through the old town. Prices are reasonable.

Rustic restaurant with bar area and outdoor area. Good German cuisine. You can definitely recommend it.

Super delicious German cuisine. Price performance is absolutely top. At first glance it may seem more expensive, but the plates are well filled and you can tell the difference in quality, especially with meat.

A decent restaurant with a great ambience! Food and drinks were impeccable and the cheerful, singing waiter made us very happy! Highly recommended if you have an appetite for down-to-earth, German cuisine! PS: The potato soup is to put in .. ?

Very good German cuisine, at fair prices. Eating is still fun there. And this extremely friendly service ...... from which I only got the first name ... Sabine. She is very accommodating and sees what is missing before the guest notices it. Something like that is really rare. Great woman!!!

Great, attentive and quick service. Questions were answered quickly and in a friendly manner. The food came quickly and was perfectly prepared. Taste and quality were really great and great value for money. The lamb shank is really recommended. Thank you and I will be happy to come back.

We received a very friendly welcome in this rustic and cozy house. The food was very good. We had an extremely tasty roast suckling pig with fried potatoes and sauerkraut, as well as a spicy potato soup with a cream topping. The price / performance ratio is consistent and the restaurant is absolutely recommendable!

We were there for dinner and were served very friendly and courteous. The waiter was a cool guy and the food was really, really good! Both had the chanterelles with schnitzel and dumplings. We would love to come again!

For me the absolute top address for good food in Hanover. Unfortunately, something like that is increasingly rare in today's burger society. I can recommend reservation. The food tastes well prepared. The staff was without complaint. Inside it is very comfortably furnished I can highly recommend the old vaulted cellar. Outside friends were always enthusiastic when I let them stop by

Very good restaurant on Kramerstraße, just near Am Markte square. Nice old historical building. Very tasty German traditional meal, especially 'Grillteller nach Broyhan Art' - mix of different meat with amazing potato.

It's a superb brasserie where we enjoyed our local specialty, RinderRoulade, with mashed potatoes and melted cabbage with bay leaf. In addition the musical atmosphere is pleasant ? the waiter is really very friendly and listens to our needs.

So glad to try amazing traditional German food would recommend to anyone!!!

Germany is the best

The ambience is rustic. Very big place. Seating options from the basement to the ground floor to the roof. The food was delicious and was brought very quickly.

Beautiful old German pub, of a type I have never seen before. Reminded me ,in a sort of way, of the old English pubs. Warm, coze, with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious draft beer. A real 'must visit' place in old Hannover.

Very cool historic pub. Enjoyed a couple of pints on a cold, rainy day.

Very nice stuff, the place is great but you need to be patient fir the food when the pub is full.

The dishes were very good, the place is welcoming, warm and characteristic and the place is located in the perfect center, so very convenient to get there and above all strategic to get around the city later. Excellent beer soup, characteristic dish with Wurst and black cabbages, good beer pity it was not possible to order the local one, artisanal, as it is not available today. The only point against, but not least, the service. One of the waiters was very rude and inattentive. It may not have been his ideal day, but the annoyed attitude he kept for the duration of the lunch bothered us. For the rest, recommended place.

Very good food and service. Do bear in mind it's not particularly child friendly but well worth a visit for warm comforting food and a nice atmosphere.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here. Small place but packed with character. Slightly limited menu, hence, only four and not five.

Nice quiet place, at least when we visited. Ordered pork fillet medallions, taste and sauce was good but meat was over cooked and dry.
